My stay at the Harmony Motel was one of the loveliest stays I’ve ever had at a hotel. The management was very friendly and I couldn’t ask for a more lovely and well kept room. The time I spent in the sauna and pool were great and I felt a certain level of atmosphere through the whole place that just left me feeling like I was at home during my stay. Passing out on my bed was a delicacy for the my body after a long day of hiking, as I basically melted in my amazingly comfy bed I was just in utter bliss at just how great of a deal this place was. Everything was so clean during my stay I couldn’t imagine a more well maintained hotel.
We stayed two nights at this pretty motel and visited Joshua Tree NP the day in between. The location is ideal, close to 29Palms but nonetheless very quiet. The common breakfast room / kitchenette was ideally suited to our needs. Very friendly staff, moreover, and not expensive. We will surely recommend this place to our friends in the Netherlands when planning an trip in SoCal.
Stayed over last weekend the first week of May 2014, at the harmony motel, to visit Joshua Tree National . Went rock climbing, the harmony is close to the Joshua park, any very close to the 49 palms oasis. The rooms was pretty, I stayed in room 4 great views of the Joshua Mountains. We loved the pool and the hot tub, and the awesome star gazing. We even got to do a little mountain biking……. I recommend the harmony as affordable, and very laid back great space to have a holiday!!!
My husband and I checked in later in the evening and we’re pleasantly surprised by this quaint rustic roadside motel. The room was perfect very clean and spacious. All the areas of the motel were ever well maintained(common area, pool and spa,and the charming desert garden) this was one of our best stays by far and we will definitely be returning to this amazing desert retreat.
I stayed at Harmony Motel on SUCH a hot day (109!) and it was such a beautiful, clean, calm respite from the heat. The pool was spotless and had a beautiful view, and had a hot tub too. (Though obviously the hot tub was not on my to-do list in the Mojave summer!)
